PETRA
After the design's for Classic Petra in 2011, I was contacted by Bob Hartman.
We discussed how a new logo was to be designed. We agreed that it should be
mixed with their 1970's and 1980's logo. The logo needed to show grandiosity.
Just like my previous design for the Classic Petra, I decided to think about
Europe. I started to remember reading about the aristocrat's, granite, gold
texture, silk, velvet, acanthus leaves. The colors played a valuable part as
the logo needed to show status. With this concept, I came up with gold, purple
and red. The logo needed to be spectacular as it was PETRA's 50th Anniversary tour.
